For the past 30 years Elaine Rennie has performed a kind of Christmas miracle, devoting her holiday to those less fortunate. Every year – come snow or sleet – Rennie can be found in the Scott Mission kitchen helping cook and serve the hungry and the homeless at the annual Christmas Day lunch.

The Scott Mission is governed by a dedicated volunteer Board of Directors. The current members of the Board are:

Steven Shaw, Chair - Vice-President, Marketing (retired), Greater Toronto Airports Authority

Esi Codjoe - Intrest Arbitration Specialist, Ontario Nurses Association

David Cross - President, W.B. Cross Co. Limited

Joe Nemni, Vice-Chair - Treasurer (retired), IBM Canada

Maureen Topp - Executive Assistant (retired), The Scott Mission

Jonathan Wilson - President, Soul Systems

Scott Bissell - Pastor, English congregation at the Toronto Chinese Alliance Church

Glenn Mallory - Principal (retired), Scarborough Christian School

Eva Wong Scanlan - Community Development Project Manager, The Meeting House
