Toronto Star - Mission, and its volunteers, deliver Christmas dinner - Debra Black
For the past 30 years Elaine Rennie has performed a kind of Christmas
miracle, devoting her holiday to those less fortunate. Every year –
come snow or sleet – Rennie can be found in the Scott Mission kitchen
helping cook and serve the hungry and the homeless at the annual
Christmas Day lunch.

This team-building opportunity is for groups of three to 20. The group will help out in a number of areas such as the kitchen, food bank, clothing area or Childcare Centre.
Groups that volunteer at the Mission are helping those who struggle with helping themselves.
It can be very humbling to lessen someone's burden and give back to your community without expecting anything in return.
We greatly appreciate everyone who helps us and hope that they find their time at the Mission fulfilling. We have some groups that have been coming here for more than 20 years!
To volunteer at The Scott Mission as a group, please call Trevor at (416) 923-8872 extension 240.
