How to Meet Jesus Christ

There is One who loves you more than you can imagine. His name is Jesus Christ and He invites you to experience the love, joy, peace and security that He freely gives.

The Bible says, “For all have sinned and fall short of the glory of God” Romans 3:23. We learn two things from this verse. One is that all of us are sinners. Second is that God has created us to live in His glory, but because of our sin we all fall short if it.

From the diagram below, you will see that there is a huge gap between God and man. This is because of sin.

Jesus Christ came into this world to bridge this gap. He died on behalf of all our sins so that we could have a relationship with God. The Bible says, “For there is one God and one mediator between God and men, the man Christ Jesus” Timothy 2:5.

Now the question you might ask is what should I do to have this relationship with Jesus. Three simple steps.

A – Accept you are a sinner. We have all sinned. It is a step of acknowledging that I have done things which I should not have done.
B – Believe that Jesus Christ died for your sins. Trust that because of what Jesus did at the cross your sins can be forgiven.
C – Commit your life to Jesus. It is simply saying, God you take control of my life.

If you are ready to do that you can say this simple prayer.

Lord Jesus, I accept I am a sinner. I have done things that I should not have. I believe that you died for me and you are able to forgive me of all my sins. I commit my life to you. You take over my life from this moment onwards. In your name I pray this prayer Lord Jesus. Amen.
