ANNOUNCING NEW CEO AT SCOTT MISSION

By September 9th, 2025No Comments

A message from Melanie Au, Board Chair, Scott Mission, July 15, 2025.

I am delighted to announce the appointment of Rockwell Dundas as the Chief Executive Officer of Scott Mission effective August 25th, 2025.

After much prayer and thoughtful reflection, our current CEO, Peter Duraisami, has decided to retire, after 35 years of service and leadership to Scott Mission. We are grateful that Peter will stay on to collaborate closely with Rockwell and the Board, to ensure a smooth handover of leadership responsibilities.

Rockwell brings a wealth of experience, with over 30 years of leadership in nonprofit organizations, business, and Christian ministry as an ordained minister. Most recently, he served as the Vice President of Philanthropy, Engagement & Partnerships at World Vision Canada, where he led strategic planning, fundraising, and community engagement initiatives. Prior to that, Rockwell successfully founded and operated global businesses and served as a Pastor in Christian ministry.

Rockwell is widely recognized for his Christ-centered approach, his dedication to team development, and his ability to create meaningful community impact. The Board was particularly impressed by his vision, his alignment with Scott Mission’s values, and his proven track record of empowering staff, building strong partnerships, and commitment to serving those experiencing poverty in Toronto and beyond.

Rockwell and his wife reside in Stouffville, Ontario, where they worship alongside four generations of their family at Campus Church Bradford.

Please join me in warmly welcoming Rockwell Dundas to Scott Mission. Together, we look forward to his leadership and to serving our community with compassion, excellence, and faith.

Blessings,

Melanie Au
Chair, Scott Mission Board of Directors
