Joanna’s Story

After escaping an abusive relationship, Joanna faced serious health issues as she struggled to raise children on her own. But thanks to generous community members, Joanna found support at Scott Mission that helped her rebuild her life and maintain hope for her children’s future.

“Having people around that, you know, showed you love is just blessing,” she says. “Because you don’t experience that all the time.”
