A NEW POOL AT CAMP!
Swimming has always been a vital part of life at Scott Mission Camp – giving children the chance to build friendships, learn new skills, and create memories that last a lifetime. Sadly, the camp’s swimming pool, built in the 1980s, is now nearly 40 years old, and Class A pool regulations mean it is no longer safe for use.
DONATE TO DOUBLE THE IMPACT!
In June 2026, a brand-new pool will bring swimming back to camp for over 700 children and youth from low-income households – many of whom would never otherwise experience a summer camp.
Thanks to the generosity of a caring friend, ALL gifts toward the new pool will be matched dollar for dollar, up to $300,000!

Thanks to the work of Betz Pools, the new camp pool will:
· Meet full commercial compliance and safety standards.
· Include solar heating, winter protection, and a new heater to reduce long-term operating costs.
· Increase depth from 8 to 10 feet, allowing the camp to train lifeguards on site.
Special thanks to Betz Pools for providing a generous discount toward the new pool. These upgrades will allow children to safely enjoy healthy physical activity, build confidence in the water, and share moments of pure joy – all while growing closer to Jesus at Scott Mission Camp.
