Amanda didn't have hope or food when she came through the Mission’s doors.
At the Mission, Amanda found warmth, kindness, and love to see her through weeks when she couldn’t afford to buy groceries. She said, “It’s one less worry when your income is low and you’re like, oh, we have no food. What am I going to do for the week?”
Amanda is truly thankful for the meals, clothes, and other help she has received from Scott Mission. And here at the Mission, we are thankful that we are here to come alongside our neighbours, who are hungry, and in need of encouragement.
