Details for Volunteering

Duties

  • Kitchen Duties: Assist with basic food preparation and cleaning as per instructions from the supervising staff.
  • Distribution Duties: Sorting, portioning, and packaging fresh produce and non-perishable items to be given out at our food banks.

Days/Hours

  • Monday to Friday
    9:00 AM to 12 PM
    Closed: Wednesday afternoons/weekends/holidays.

Group Size

  • The maximum capacity for groups will be 15 participants.
    *Participants will be divided between our 2 departments. (Kitchen and Distribution) as both departments are integral to delivering our essential services.
  • Due to the size of each department, we can only accommodate up to 4 people in the kitchen and up to 11 people in the distribution department.

  • 15 years of age and older

  • Although we are grateful for any financial donations your organization may provide, it is not mandatory to volunteer.
