When healthcare meets hope – lives and communities are changed!
In 2023, with the help of compassionate friends like you, Scott Mission established an on-site health clinic in our Men’s shelter at 346 Spadina Avenue. Because the GTA is facing a health emergency and the shortage of family doctors in Ontario has reached crisis levels, many of our GTA neighbours, who experience poverty and homelessness, are without access to primary healthcare.
Because of the increasing need and because the current location presents significant challenges such as, limited accessibility for clients with mobility issues, inadequate privacy for sensitive consultations, and emergency access limitations – Scott Mission is taking action to make our health clinic 5X’s bigger! This expansion will provide much-needed accessibility for seniors, and it will allow us to expand services to include women and children in our community!

Because YOU care, Scott Mission will provide even more comprehensive services to 4X’s as many shelter and respite clients, seniors, women, and children who are without access to ongoing medical care. While we are thrilled to be able to serve more of our neighbours at the new health clinic, we appreciate prayers for our frontline staff, as they will be working even harder than they do now to welcome even more of our neighbours who need medical care.
