Christian first came to Scott Mission Camp when he was just seven years old. But even at such a young age, he knew he wanted to come back every year!
“Everyone told me about the camp . . . how it’s so fun, how everyone is kind and loving, and how it’s all about Jesus. That had everything to do with it,” Christian recalls.
An athlete with hopes for a career in basketball, Christian loves that there are so many outdoor activities to enjoy—rock climbing, mountain biking, archery, swimming, and more. But he also values the time spent with others, building friendships, and deepening his relationship with God.
Christian is currently enrolled in our Foundations Program to hone his leadership skills he could use as a camp counsellor one day. He makes a point to invite every young person he meets to give Scott Mission Camp a try.
“I tell them about all the activities we do and how much fun they’ll have during the week. Scott Mission Camp is a family that makes you feel free to talk about anything you’re going through.”
