COVID-19 UPDATE

THANK YOU for partnering with The Scott Mission to reach huge numbers of families and individuals in need of food and other emergency services as the lingering pandemic continues to cause hunger and hardship.

Support from caring friends and donors has made it possible for The Scott Mission to continue sharing food, help, and hope with our most vulnerable neighbours since the onset of COVID-19:

• 29,930 Meals Provided—Freshly cooked and packaged hot meals distributed to-go and/or served to our neighbours in need.
• 13,371 Food Bank Visits—Our food bank has been a lifeline to many families and individuals facing hunger.

Our Men’s Shelter continues to offer safe refuge to the homeless—a service needed now more than ever. Your ongoing support is important to reaching those who have been hardest hit—for example, low income and hourly workers who were struggling to get by, even before the pandemic. Housing affordability and a recovering economy, among other struggles, continue to make things difficult for our clients.
