For decades, generous support from our donors has positioned The Scott Mission to be a lifeline to under-resourced children . . .
But then came COVID-19, causing Scott Mission Camp to be canceled in 2020—for the first time ever—and threatening our ability to have after-school and leadership programs.
The Mission’s teams swiftly adapted in every way imaginable to develop special programs so they could continue anchoring young people to God’s love and to their mentors and friends at the Mission in a virtual, safe environment.
The Mission’s counselors and young leaders were able to lead and encourage children, youth, and teens through virtual and, later, in-person outreaches that included after-school, mentorship, and leadership programs.
The common thread through all of The Scott Mission’s programs is that young people learn they are loved, they have value, and God has plans for their lives.
Thank you for your prayers and partnership, which have been a huge blessing to children whose everyday lives have been filled with worry, fear, and hunger since COVID-19 began.
Boys and girls were devastated when COVID-19 caused Scott Mission Camp to be canceled in 2020—the first camp closure in decades.
